After-School Kids Yoga & Mindfulness
After a busy week of sitting, learning, and concentrating at school, kids need a safe space to let go of their energy, shake off their worries, and just be kids!
This playful, supportive after-school program is designed specifically for early elementary schoolers. Through fun yoga poses, silly movement games, and kid-friendly mindfulness activities, we teach children how to connect with their bodies and understand their emotions.
Over the course of our 60-minute class, we seamlessly blend high-energy play with soothing relaxation, leaving your child feeling calm, grounded, and ready for a peaceful evening at home.

Why Yoga and Mindfulness for K–3 Kids? (The Benefits)
At this age, children are navigating big emotions, social transitions, and rapidly growing bodies. Here is how our 60-minute weekly class helps your child thrive:
1. Calming the Mind & Managing Big Feelings
Just like adults, kids experience stress, frustration, and over stimulation. We teach them simple breathing exercises (like "balloon breathing" or "cooling breaths") that act as instant calm-down tools. Your child will learn how to notice when they are feeling overwhelmed and how to use their own breath to find their quiet center.
2. Building Strong, Happy Bodies
K-3 is a critical time for physical development. Our playful yoga poses help children build coordination, balance, and core strength in a non-competitive, supportive environment. By moving their bodies in a joyful way, they develop a healthy, positive relationship with fitness.
3. Improving Focus and Listening Skills
Through fun concentration games and mindful listening activities, we help kids train their "attention muscles." This gentle practice builds focus and self-regulation skills that carry directly over into the classroom and at home.
4. Creating Confident, Kind Hearts
Our classes are built on a foundation of kindness, respect, and community. We play cooperative games that encourage sharing, empathy, and making friends. As kids master new poses, their self-esteem and confidence naturally soar!
